True Basic Reflection
In True Basic, I learned how to make simple programs that can loop, display text and graphics,
calculate values, use variables, make decisions, and use modules. We used several mediums to learn
these skills. First, we used the book Programming in True Basic by Stewart Venit and Sandra
Schleeiffers to read about basic techniques. Second, we used Mr. Street's "wisdom" of True Basic,
which he imparted to us in tedious "learning experience" sessions during Computer Science class,
using time that should have been used for better purposes, like HTML. We used this knowledge
through quizzes and problems from Programming in T.B. True Basic is a useless skill, but might
give us an easier time in learning other, better, useful programming languages.
